We’re excited to announce that a new Sanguine Hum album is in the pipeline! The current worldwide situation has given us a moment to reflect on the importance of creating music, which was something that we had pretty much run out of time to be able to do to any satisfying degree. The pandemic has given us that opportunity to take stock and review the music that we had been working on back in 2018 for a possible album - and we’re really excited by what we have recorded already. It’s been challenging but fun working out ways that we can complete this record from our respective lockdown locations!

At the time of writing we have 7 pieces of music that we hope to complete and we are looking at a tentative release date of late May for a download only album. Regular updates will be happening on our facebook page and we hope to unveil a new song in the coming weeks.

Also, keep a look out for various archival things popping up on Youtube and Bandcamp. Currently we have posted a previously unseen documentary from the Songs for Days era which you can find in the videos section of this site or over on YouTube

Matt has also made available a free gig from a solo concert in London which features lots of Sanguine Hum material plus pieces from his solo albums - Bandcamp

Stay tuned and stay safe! And thanks for listening:)
